The Accounts Payable (AP) Associate is responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
The AP Associate reports to the General Accountant and is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that finances are accurate and up to date, that staff are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits are important functions for this team member. This role will complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Works closely with other AP Associates in a collaborative and collegial manner.
Our Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate supports the Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor by ensuring that the Company receives payments for goods and services according to established Company payment terms and correctly records the transactions. The AR Associate provides support to secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.
This position is a maternity leave replacement (12+ months), with a possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Business Systems and IT Manager, our Business Systems Analyst is a highly detailed-oriented individual who enjoys a variety of challenges for a fast-growing company. This role is responsible for analyzing and documenting business and system processes, use cases and testing scenarios, maintaining company wide SOP’s and version control, designing and developing reports in Power BI and using tools such as Microsoft Flow and SharePoint to automate systems. The Red Seal Certified Journeyman Electrician must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to the installation and maintenance of electrical devices and components found in industrial settings. The Industrial Electrician inspects, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and services (includes calibration and preventive/predictive maintenance) electrical equipment such as motors, generators, pumps, heavy duty machines, environmental regulating systems, communication systems; and associated electrical and electronic controls for food production.
The Industrial Electrician is also responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete Work Orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position may require shift hours.
The Journeyman Industrial Millwright must possess fundamental and specialized knowledge and skills related to troubleshooting and providing preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating equipment change-over.
The Millwright is responsible for working together with the rest of the maintenance team to complete new projects, work orders and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program. This position requires shiftwork (rotating once a month).
Our Process Engineer will manage and direct engineering functions to meet company objectives for new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This role will be responsible for the efficient development of processes at production scale, sourcing and modification of equipment, manufacture of samples, and leading new equipment trials. Key skills for this role are problem-solving and have a keen interest in working collaboratively to develop new processes and improve current ones. Ability to travel to our co-packers is also a critical requirement.

Our Sr. R&D Technologist, New Product Development leads and supports significant technical components of R&D projects, utilizing strong innovation, product development, and research skills to advance team and department objectives. This role will work collaboratively and independently to design and execute technical work, from benchtop testing to product commercialization. This role also conducts all types of technical work including but not limited to: scientific research, product concept refinement, raw material sourcing, product formulation, benchtop prototype development, experimental design, analytical testing, data analysis and interpretation, scale up testing, co-packer assessment, process optimizing, shelf life testing, sensory testing, stability analysis and product commercialization. The role may be required to supervise and support other team members in delivering tasks. They are responsible for driving company growth through collaborating, innovating, and experimenting to develop creative product and process solutions.
Our Vice-President of Research & Development (R&D) is responsible for developing an R&D center of excellence which will manage the innovation process in collaboration with Marketing to deliver best-in-class plant-based food products. This team is responsible for the innovation and renovation of our products to develop and commercialize new and improved products and processes to make sure all launches are ready for scale up and production. This position leads product ideation, product development and delivery, and product performance and research to ensure products are on trend and will grow the business.
The Buyer is responsible for ordering and maintaining the appropriate stock levels of raw materials (ingredients, packaging, and production supplies) to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations at the Vancouver plant as well as at our co-packers. This position supports the Senior Buyers and Manager.
Our Order Fulfillment Associate acts as the first point of contact with the customers and plays a key role in assuring customer satisfaction and a positive experience. This is a great role for someone with a customer focus and the right attitude, energy and enthusiasm.
Our Order Fulfillment Associate works in a fast-paced environment as a problem solver, quick thinker and resourceful individual. The Order Fulfillment Associate must communicate efficiently and rapidly to ensure that customers have the answers they are looking for.
The Production Scheduler will be primarily responsible for creating, managing and executing the detailed daily internal plant schedules based on the Master Production Schedule inputs while maximizing resource utilization. This position will require collaboration with cross functional teams such as Operations, QA, Warehouse, R&D, Logistics and Purchasing. The Production Scheduler will help support achievement of Daiya’s customer service level and production efficiency targets while promoting best production practices.
